We support people in police custody suites across Lincolnshire via the Criminal Justice Liaison & Diversion Service (CJL&D), in partnership with Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (LPFT).
CJL&D is part of a national support model to engage with vulnerable people in police custody suites and supports them to identify areas of need and then access advice and support to put a stop to the ‘revolving door’ of criminality. The team aims to divert individuals away from the criminal justice system by engaging them with relevant health, social care and support services. We empower individuals to make positive changes, offering continued support in the community where needed.
