LAT has been awarded the Trauma Quality Mark!

Lincolnshire Action Trust is delighted to have been awarded the Trauma Quality Mark by One Small Thing, a charity who work to educate, influence and encourage the redesign of justice services through the lens of trauma.

The assessment process took a deep dive into the structure, governance and leadership of Lincolnshire Action Trust through the voices of staff from across the organisation. It was in equal parts challenging and inspiring to take a good look at how LAT feels to those who work within it and how that environment translates the six core principles to those we work with.

The quality mark is a robust, accessible, and supportive set of standards for working with trauma, developed through an extensive analysis of existing global standards, principles, and values associated with trauma informed working practices.

The Quality Mark demonstrates that we have an understanding and awareness of trauma and its impact, and that we have organisational plans in place to implement trauma informed practice.

We are extremely grateful to the team at One Small Thing for their support throughout the assessment process and to every employee and volunteer who provided reflective pieces.
