Georgia Alsop
Georgia is the Company Secretary and as the Treasurer she has specific responsibility for overseeing LAT’s financial management framework and controls, reserve policy and risks around business continuity.
She has a BA Hons from the University of Manchester in Accounts, Finance and Social Studies, and she is a Fellow Chartered Accountant. She qualified as an auditor with a medium-sized firm of chartered accountants in 1994. She has since moved to UKAS as the Finance and Corporate Services Director and Company Secretary responsible for finance, systems, facilities, HR, and later customer services.
The idea of sharing her experience and knowledge with an organisation that is supporting the rehabilitation and resettlement of individuals and their families, making sure that they are getting fair treatment and the support they need to succeed, is what excited Georgia most about joining LAT.
