Zoe Chaloner
Zoe Chaloner is Senior Resettlement Practitioner at HMP Morton Hall.
Her role is to support foreign nationals at Morton Hall, who have three to 30 months remaining on their sentence to be resettled back into their community. This includes health needs, financial/debt support, housing, meaningful employment, education and much more.
As a Senior Practitioner, she also helps her team to ensure they are feeling supported and safe within their duties, so that they can, in turn, provide a high-quality, meaningful service to clients and provide the best possible service and support.
Zoe’s career started as Team Leader in a residential setting which involved supporting adults with learning disabilities and mental health needs as well as staff training. She has spent the last nine years working within apprenticeship training programmes supporting others to become the best care staff to help make a difference to vulnerable people’s lives.
Zoe says the most exciting part of joining LAT was being able to work alongside others who share the same passion she has for supporting people to achieve their best. She says there is no better feeling than knowing your contribution to someone’s life has had a positive impact.
She considers the most rewarding part of her role is being able to make a difference to people’s lives by taking small steps and seeing what impact this makes.
