Nicoya Palastanga
Nicoya’s board portfolio includes leading on the women’s service and on equality, diversity, and inclusion. Her aim is to support the team in delivering the women’s service, but also to promote other services for women across Lincolnshire, leading partnerships with other organisations.
Nicoya gained an MBA from the University of Lincoln in 2012, having got her initial MA in 1981. She has worked as a careers adviser and as a partnership manager with local councils. She was also Chair of Lincolnshire Credit Union for three years.
She joined the LAT board as her work with the charity in the past meant she knew what a fabulous team they have, a team that is recognised for its expertise and skill. She says the most inspiring part of her role is meeting the staff across the organisation as it fills her with awe.
