LAT is delighted to be co-delivering the new Criminal Justice Liaison & Diversion Service across Lincolnshire from 1 April 2020, in partnership with Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust.
The service will provide support for vulnerable people when they first come into contact with the criminal justice system.
The entry point to the service will be when an individual comes into contact with the police (or other authority investigating criminal activity) under suspicion of having committed a criminal offence and is identified as having a potential vulnerability and will be available at the point of need.
The service is commissioned by NHS England/Improvement and is underpinned by service level agreements with all local health, criminal justice, social care and housing providers, to facilitate supported access to their services
Criminal Justice Liaison and Diversion is a 7 day a week, 365 day a year service and is available in each of the following locations:
- Boston Police Custody Suite
- Grantham Police Custody Suite
- Lincoln Police Custody Suite
- Skegness Police Custody Suite
- Boston Magistrates Court
- Lincoln Magistrates Court
- Voluntary Attendance locations
