It’s National Volunteers Week and we are celebrating our incredible volunteers who generously donate their time, skills, and passion to make a difference. At Lincolnshire Action Trust (LAT), we are continually proud of our dedicated volunteers and the work they deliver in the community, making them a vital part in transforming the lives of those in need.

Volunteering with LAT offers a unique opportunity to make a real impact on the lives of individuals and families across Lincolnshire. Our volunteers work in a variety of roles, supporting our mission to help people improve their lives through education, employment, and resettlement services.

Volunteers will have access to regular support and supervisions, as well as the opportunity to access development opportunities and training. Volunteers are also reimbursed for ‘out of pocket’ travel and expenses incurred in the role.

We offer a wide range of volunteer roles depending on the needs of the charity.

Here are some of the exciting opportunities, both in prisons and in the community, that are currently available:

Finding the right reason for a volunteer opportunity is hugely important. Do you have a few hours a week to spare? Do you want to improve your skills and experience? Do you want to do something a bit different? Are you non-judgemental and enjoy helping others? Are you over 18?– if yes then why not become an LAT volunteer?

Getting started is easy. Simply visit our volunteer recruitment page to find out more about our current opportunities and submit your application via our application form. Should you need any support in the process or want to speak to one of our trusted team members, give us a call on 01522 806611 or email volunteering@LATcharity.org.uk.

This National Volunteers Week, we invite you to become part of the Lincolnshire Action Trust family. Your support can make a world of difference to someone in need. Together, we can create a brighter future for our community.

We look forward to welcoming you to our team!
