We are pleased to introduce two new additions to the leadership team at LAT, Claire Burton and Adelle Lighton.
Claire and Adelle will provide key roles in leading LAT forward and continuing to provide the highest quality of service to those involved in and affected by the criminal justice system.
The Head of Service roles are new for LAT and are in response to the significant growth of the charity in recent times. They will be part of a newly formed senior leadership team that will ensure the charity is able to continue to develop and embed its services and its workforce to ensure high quality, responsive services continue to be delivered for clients
Claire Burton
Claire is the new Head of Community Services and is responsible for supporting the teams delivering services across Lincolnshire. She gained a master’s degree in Charity Leadership and has worked in the charitable sector for 20 years, including senior management roles in a local grassroots charity and a national housing charity for people with convictions.
Adelle Lighton
Adelle is the new Head of Custody Services and she oversees the operational management of LAT custody contracts in police stations and prisons within our contract area. Adelle has over 10 years’ experience working within the criminal justice sector, predominantly within Police Custody and Prisoner Transportation.
Alison Goddard, Chief Executive of LAT, said: “Our new team members will bring a broad range of skills and experience and will allow the organisation to get a fresh perspective moving forward. These new senior leadership roles will help LAT continue to provide an excellent service for the communities in Lincolnshire and beyond.
“I know that I speak for the whole organisation when I say welcome to them both”
